Who we are

Welcome to AllergyAde, a passionate initiative by Leigh Roberson dedicated to making travel safe and enjoyable for those with food allergies. With over 4 million children affected by severe food allergies—about 1 in 13—it's crucial to raise awareness and provide support for families navigating these challenges. A total of 20 million Americans suffer from food allergies.

As someone who personally battles life-threatening food and environmental allergies, along with asthma, I understand the struggles that come with finding safe food options. My heart goes out to children affected by crises like Hurricane Helene, who often lack access to safe foods.

Through this project, I aim to provide resources, tips for allergy-friendly travel, and insights on discovering brands that prioritize safety. I also spearheaded AllergyAde, focusing on emergency relief and education. Join us on this journey, and consider supporting our cause by creating safe food bags or adopting families in need.
